We are in the process of making 3D Map New Zealand available as a web app that can run on any device, including Windows and Mac OS computers and Android mobile phones.
This is currently experimental and many features of the iOS app are missing. In particular:

Initially we aim for compatibility with current (mid-2026) versions of Firefox, Safari and Chrome on Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS and Linux. This could change; other browsers are not blocked so you can try them.
The web app has minimal analytics - we receive data when it starts, and when it crashes. This includes information about the browser being used, the size of the screen (so that we know if it's a phone or a computer), and your very approximate geographic location (country or major-city level). It does not collect any personally-identifying information.
Some data is stored in your web browser between each use of the app - specifically, the coordinates of the region you were viewing, your settings, and any files that you save. This data doesn't leave your browser.
